Dark Photography is a space where you will be able to find out about all of the different little tips and tricks to get the images that you want. These come from our experiences, and also from other Photographers who guest post here. Taking photos isn’t as simple as point and click, as much as more modern cameras and post-production tech might make it seem that way.
A crap photo that has been retouched or photoshopped is still essentially a crap photo.
So, how do you avoid taking crap photos then? Well, that may be easier said than done in some cases, as there is a need for some degree of artistic capability. Here, you’ll get some tips on how to approach your photography to improve your composition, and basically get the thins into the picture that need to be there, while getting rid of the things that don’t.
We do have a passion for night photography, mainly because there are so many cool things to do with delayed exposures, but that can also be achieved at sunrise and sunset. Softer light and longer exposures can offer more room for creativity than a quick snap selfie typically can. That’s why you’ll see more content here that is directed at night photography, astral photography, and my personal favorite, aurora photography.
It’s every photographer’s dream to be able to make money doing what they love. Some are better positioned than others to take action in this area, but there are ways and means to get to your goal. The first step is to get educated on ‘how’ to set yourself up correctly. This is not as difficult as you may think, and there is a swag of online courses you can do to help get your business off the ground.
