The Lg Mini Gd880 To Feature The World’s First Air Sync
LG Electronics wows the mobile phone community on the eve of the highly anticipated 2010 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. LG didn’t wait to unveil it in the event to match rival Samsung’s similar touchscreen in the S8520 Monte unveiled at about the same time.
LG has upped the ante with another new touchscreen smartphone that combines functional richness and affordability in a no-nonsense stark body that is so simple you wonder why the others never thought about it. This is the LG Mini GD880 in a touchscreen monolith. With just a 10.6mm thickness, the Mini can claim to be among the thinnest touchscreen smartphone out there.
A First of its Kind
At the recently concluded MWC, LG passed out information that its new LG Mini will be its first smartphone and certainly the first in the world, to feature its new Air Sync feature. This allows continuous data synching between a PC and your handset over the air possibly using the DLNA capability of its WiFi. It will sync with your PC’s media content as well as the last 100 websites you have visited on your PC regardless of search results.
